Movers & Shakers: Exxon Mobil, Cliffs Natural, Anadarko earnings in focus

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Among the companies whose shares are expected to see active trade in Monday’s session are Exxon Mobil Corp., Cliffs Natural Resources Inc., and Anadarko Petroleum Corp.

Exxon Mobil XOM, -0.18%  is projected to report fourth-quarter earnings of $ 1.34 a share, according to a consensus survey by FactSet.

Cliffs Natural Resources CLF, +5.07%  is forecast to post fourth-quarter earnings of 12 cents a share.

Anadarko Petroleum APC, +2.01%  is expected to report fourth-quarter earnings of 86 cents a share.

Sysco Corp. SYY, -1.83%  is likely to post fiscal second-quarter earnings of 41 cents a share.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. HIG, -1.69%  is projected to report fourth-quarter earnings of 93 cents a share.

Late Friday, Paccar Inc. PCAR, -6.15%  reported an 18% increase in profit to $ 394 million, or $ 1.11 a share, from $ 334 million, or 94 cents a share, a year earlier.

Vale SA VALE, +1.74%  , the world’s largest iron-ore producer, said it plans to slash dividends. – Top Stories
